My experiance and difficulties on Shapes
Hello and welcome in my first devlog,
I'm qwerex, or Kerwin - yes, yes im using two nicknames - and i wanted to say something about developing a game for Godot Wild Jam #49. And i will start by saying it was tough challange, for the first week of development I had no idea what to make and lost all hope for completing any game for this game jam, but then they announce bonus week for development. I regain hope and started work on game with evolution mechanic gained through doing some action wich rewrded player with unstability points, and when player have enough points then it becomes so unstable that it can evolve. So I regained motivation for fiinishing project, had plan on it but new challanges has come.
Through last week of development i had so little time that i could only spend from 1 to three hours a day on development, and today when i had some free time to end game, my mum had accident, fortunately she's all good and nothing bad happened, but i lost another 5 hours.
With so little time and many difficulties that came in these two weeks i nearly finished my game. Shapes have one real bug, and i cannot figure out how to get rid of it. There also has been many good moments, 90% of game making went flawlessly and i learned new things in godot, like how to make better UI's and i did better resource menegament.
After all i'm happy that i;m able to upload project on time and have plans on updating this project after voting.
